Join Us for the Annual SCOTUS Panel in Ocean City
By Steve Klepper (Twitter: @MDAppeal)
On Friday, I’ll have the pleasure of moderating the annual Supreme Court Term in Review panel at the MSBA Annual Meeting. The program is sponsored by the MSBA Section of Litigation and its Appellate Practice Committee.
Our all-#AppellateTwitter panelists this year are:
- Sarah Harrington (@SEHarringtonDC), who has argued 20 cases before the Supreme Court and is a partner with Goldstein & Russell, P.C.
- Deepak Gupta (@deepakguptalaw), who has argued 4 cases before the Supreme Court and is the co-founder of Gupta Wessler PLLC
- Tony Mauro (@Tonymauro), who is the Supreme Court correspondent for Law.com and The National Law Journal
The program will run from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Crystal Ballroom 2A at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel.
And now, a brief FAQ.
Will CLE credit be available for members of bars other than Maryland, which thankfully has no CLE requirement?
Yes. Many thanks to the MSBA’s CLE ninja, Andrea Terry, for helping to ensure we have written materials to qualify for CLE credit.
Will the room be big enough this year?
I am informed that we have a room large enough to accommodate our typical turnout. Many thanks to everyone who squeezed in last year.
Will lunch be served?
Yes. The Section of Litigation is springing for pizza instead of the typical finger sandwiches.
Will there be a kitchen fire that forces us into the parking lot again?
Goodness gracious, I hope history doesn’t repeat itself.
